Description
Seeking potential sources for an anticipated contract for mainten a nce, repair and deactivation of FEMA temporary housing units (THUs), in the Minot, ND area. The range of THUs is estimated to be between 1200-1300 units. Contract will require following services: 1. Scheduled Monthly preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and emergency repairs to plumbing, electrical, sewage and HVAC systems and lines, interior appliances, doors, windows, etc. 2. Establish and operate a toll-free 24/7 emergency repair hotline. 3. Refurbishment for re-occupancy to include cleaning and repair/replacement of carpets, appliances, fixtures, etc, as required. 5. Provide grounds maintenance (e.g.landscaping services and Snow plowing of roads and driveway access) at four FEMA Community Sites. 6. Responsible for all utility infrastructure maintenance at the community sites. 7. Deactivation and Unit realignment to include preparation for movement, cleaning, winterization, unit repositioning (same pad). 8. Unit relocation. Anticipated period of performance to be Nov2011 through Nov2012 with option to extend. THUs may be located both within large community sites as well as individual private locations throughout Minot, ND area. Due to provisions of the Stafford Act, this contract will be a local set-aside for contractors based within the counties specified in Disaster Declaration DR-1981-ND. This is not a request for proposal or quotation; this notice is for market research purposes to obtain information on vendor capabilities within the defined area.
