- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Kentucky National Guard's intent is to award a one year firm fixed price contract for providing linen services. NAICS code 812332 Industrial Launderers is being used for this acquisition. The period of performance will be 1 November 2011 thru 31 October 2012. The evaluation criteria will be lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability will be determined by contractors proposal, ability to meet delivery schedule and the contractors past performance. The Kentucky National Guard wants to establish a price for the following; 1.Linen services (white pillow cases, white bed sheets) approximately 30,000 pounds of linen will completed in a year. Linen is customer owned. We want to receive a per pound price to include any type of service or delivery fees. Contractor will pick up laundry once a week and return in the same week (within three days after pick up). The pickup and return will take place at Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center, 4675 State Route 181 North, Greeneville, KY 42345. If you have any questions regarding this combined synopsis solicitation please contact me by email. All quotes will be due no later than 2:00 PM EST 26 October 2011. Quotes will be accepted via email martin.a.goldey@us.army.mil, clearly marked with solicitation number or you may mail them to 120 Minuteman Parkway Frankfort KY 40601, Attention Martin Goldey. Interested contractors must submit the attached quote form and turn in with their proposal. If the contractor fails to do this they will be considered non responsive and will not be considered for award. You may include additional pricing information. Also include your past performance information in your quote.
