- Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI intends to solicit offers for a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract for restoration and repair of TR 317 hydrophones. The contract is a follow on to contract N66604-05-D-2148 with EDO Western Corporation, 2645 S 300 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. The solicitation shall also include a cost plus fixed fee task for design studies and engineering changes if needed during contract performance for those technical services. This acquisition shall be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511, size standard is 750 employees. The solicitation anticipated post date is on or about 27 OCT 2011. The solicitation anticipated closing date is on or about 28 NOV 2011. The award decision will be made on a Best Value determination in consideration of both technical and price factors. Technical criteria for evaluation of proposals shall be technical approach and past performance. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO website.
