- Description
- The USN has identified a requirement for the following items. In order to accomplish this objective, the Naval Air Systems Command anticipates negotiating a sole source, firm fixed price (FFP) delivery order (DO) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001. 1. 12 each AFC-400 A1 installation kits to retrofit the F/A-18 Lot 13-21C aircraft in support of ECP-570R1, part number 9400LKA143184SF. 2. 14 each AYC-1321 A1 installation kits to retrofit the F/A-18 Lot 12-21C aircraft in support of ECP-570R1, part number 1321LKA143422XX. 3. 8 each AFC-444 A1 installation kits to retrofit the F/A-18D aircraft in support of ECP-570R4, part number 9444LKA143583SF. 4. 10 each AFC-445 A4 installation kits to retrofit the F/A-18F (Lot 26-29) aircraft in support of ECP-570R4, part number 9445LKA443565SF. The Boeing Company is the aircraft manufacturer and systems integrator and the company that designed the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) integration into the F/A-18 Aircraft, and has copyright licensed to the retrofit installation drawings and all engineering data supporting the retrofit design. Significant component piece parts that make up the retrofit kits are proprietarty designs of The Boeing Company. The drawings are released to the US Govt pursuant to the copyright license under DFARS Clause 252.227-7013 for reproduction to facilitate installation, however, are considered proprietary to The Boeing Company and not releasable for competitive outsourcing.
