- a.The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire on a competitive basis, Audit Support Services to NAVMED MPT&E Command in Bethesda, MD. THE DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS REFLECT CURRENT KNOWLEDGE AS OF THIS PRINTING. THESE FACTS MAY BE UPDATED OR REVISED IN THE ACTUAL REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS, WHEN ISSUED. The contractor will be expected to provide audit support services to ensure accuracy of obligated service dates, and subsequent correction of any errors of Medical Corps Officer records. The purpose of the work is to provide audit services to ensure that all dates for education and training, special pays, loan repayment and enlistment incentives are correct in BUMIS for Medical Corps Officers, to review with the information owners any dates that are determined to be inaccurate, correct the inaccurate dates once verified by the information owner, ensure that the corrected obligated service date is in BUMIS, and to track all inaccurate dates by officer record, reason for inaccuracy, and any changes that are made on a standardized spreadsheet using standardized notation so that future analysis can be performed. It is intended that this procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and FAR Part 12 will apply. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price service contract will result from this solicitation. It is anticipated that the basic period of performance will last for one year, with a performance start date of 01 January 2012 or 30 days after award. It is anticipated the solicitation will be released during the week of 18 October 2011. The solicitation number is N00189-12-T-Z002 and the NAICS code is 541219.
