- RFP for Walla Walla, WA Additional information regarding this opportunity, including the RFP, is available on the project website: http://www.va.gov/AssetManagement/burr/wallaWalla/index.asp This procurement is for an Enhanced-Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 77 Wainwright Drive, Walla Walla, WA. The Walla Walla project site consists of one four-acre parcel of underutilized land, including four buildings (#2, #3, #4, and #5) totaling 19,974 sq ft. VA seeks a developer to lease and improve the underutilized Walla Walla VAMC parcel, and provide VA with negotiated lease consideration, including housing for homeless Veterans or Veterans at risk for being homeless, and/or other appropriate housing opportunities. VA also may consider allowing a portion of the EUL site to be used as retail/office and/or commercial space to help support the viability of the housing types. More than one type of housing may be acceptable. Lease agreements may be up to 75 years.
