- Arcata Associates, Inc has a requirement for RIPS code error corrections andPorting to run under Windows 7.Arcata Associates, Inc intends to purchase the Consulting services of James C BevierConsulting 2402 Pine Cove Road Prescott, AZ 86305. Continued software support for thepurpose of correcting errors in the RIPS software, and upgrading the software to rununder Windows 7. James C Bevier was the primary developer of the application identifiedabove (RIPS) and has been the sole person responsible for its upgrade and maintenance andas such possesses a unique knowledge of this application. This makes his continuingsupport the most effective means to this solution.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:00 p.m. PacificStandard time October 20, 2011. Such apabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solelyfor the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on acompetitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed efforton a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solelywithin the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
