- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education - Computer Application Courses for the Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed prices. The responsible quoter shall be a junior college or community college accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities or equivalent agency. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base period of the Effective Date of Award through 12 months, with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. The solicitation will be available on or about October 14, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about November 15, 2011. The solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611210 with a size standard of 7.0 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible companies may submit a quote.
