- The National Park Service (NPS), Buffalo National River, has a requirement for Fuel Delivery for three districts, Upper - Middle - Lower. These sites are located in Newton, Searcy, and Marion counties in Arkansas. Theproposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will have a base year and option years. Award will be made to one or more contractors, whichever is most economical to the Government. The NAICS code for this project is 424720, the size standard is 100 Employees.DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The type of fuel tanks located at the three districts are Hoover Containment Incorporated Model No. M-1325. Each tank has two vaults with a capacity of 2000 gallons in each vault. One vault contains #2 diesel fuel and the other vault contains unleaded gasoline. The location of the Upper district tank is at the Pruitt maintenance yard, near Marble Falls (Newton County), AR. The location of the Middle district tank is at Tyler Bend maintenance yard near St. Joe (Searcy County), AR. The location of the Lower district tank is at Buffalo Point maintenance yard near Yellville (Marion county), AR. Contractor will delivery the fuel within 24 to 48 hours of a request. Separate delivery tickets will be provided for each delivered item. Delivery tickets are to be left at the park with a receivers signature, printed name, and delivery date. During the months of November through March cold flow improvers will be added to diesel fuel. Payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) within 30 days after receipt of delivery. The following minimum/maximum amounts apply per year: Min 18,000 /max 26,000 gallons of Unleaded Gasoline to the Tyler Bend and Pruitt maintenance area shop tanks (combined); Min 6,000/max 11,000 gallons of Unleadede Gasoline to the Buffalo Point maintenance area shop tank; min 10,000/max 14,000 gallons of #2 diesel fuel to the Tyler Bend and Pruitt Maintenance shop area tanks (combined); min 3,000/max 4,500 gallons of #2 diesel fuel to the Buffalo Point Maintenance area shop tank.It is requested that all parties that would be interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement contact Beverly Haake, Contract Specialist, Missouri MABO, at (314) 655-1661, email: beverly_haake@nps.gov. Also indicate in your interest statement how you would propose pricing these fuels - do not submit pricing information, only method that would be used to price fuel deliveries. It is requested that responses to this announcement be provided by close of business October 21, 2011. This is not a request for bid/proposal. It is merely a notice to ascertain the amount of sources available who can provide this service.
