- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government intends to solicit a quote and enter into a contract with SystemLink Inc., Dulles, Virginia, 20151-1238, DUNS#113009521. Due to the proprietary nature of this requirement SystemLink is the only known vendor who can provide maintenance and sofware upgrades to the proprietary customized software and hardware of the Histotrac® system specifically used for research and clinical purposes at the National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center. The HIstoTrac®system provided by SystemLink is specific for the NIH HLA laboratory needs to define human leukocyte antigens. The current design, process, and data management of the complex system provides a seamless flow of data from HistoTrac® to other necessary systems. The Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement. Small businesses are encouraged to respond to this notice if they are capable to meet the needs of this requirement. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. The proposed award date will be on or before Oct 20, 2011.
