- Notice of Intent MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, in Tacoma, Washington, intends to award a fixed-price contract with in the amount of $35,000.00 for GENZYME CORPORATION for Chondrocytes cell & implantation system in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1. The Surgeon has determined that these products will best meet the patient's specific medical needs/requirements. ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE FDA APPROVED and meet the surgeons' and the patients specific medical needs/requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
