- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25401 requires General Construction Services to Renovate Building 407B. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside and is restricted to firms located within 125 mile driving distance according to www.randmcnally.com. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 14. The renovation of existing space is approximately 2400 square feet located within Building 407B. The construction will consist of complete, interior office renovations which will include interior demolition, asbestos abatement, replacement windows, insulation, drywall and metal stud walls, demountable partitions, acoustical ceilings, carpet tile, resilient flooring, painting, radiant floor heat, ground source heat pump system connected to drilled wells, plumbing, and electrical work. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS Code 236220 small business size standard $33.5 million. The estimated construction price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 Solicitation documents will be available for download on or about March 25, 2011. The VA will not provide hard copies of the solicitation. Note: Contractor is responsible for downloading all documents, including amendments. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via email or fax. Faxed or emailed proposals will NOT be accepted.
