- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office MCI-West currently seeks offerors to provide chemical toilet services to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA, Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook, CA and Marine Corps Recruit Depot, CA. The contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, vehicles, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to provide the services of this requirement. Services will include cleaning, placing, and relocating chemical toilets as well as waste disposal. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 562991, Septic Tank and Related Services, Small Business Size Standard is: $7 million. This requirement will be set aside for 8 (a) Small Business Concerns. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. The government expects to award one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract to one or more eligible 8 (a) small business concerns. Services shall be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Commerical Test Program. The expected award will consist of one base period of performance with four (4) one-year options. The anticipated performance start date is 1 November 2011. There is no guarantee that any option period of performance will be exercised. The entire solicitation package will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps and NECO websites for the release of the solicitation package or subsequent solicitation amendments. The RFQ will be issued on or about Oct 6, 2011. The closing date for submission of offers will be on or about Oct 21, 2011, 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102 (a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of contract. Contractors are encouraged to obtain further information on CCR registration at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/.
