- Description
- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to obtain a SeaSpy Marine Magnetometer or equivalent. The SeaSpy Magnetometer shall have the following specifications: absolute accuracy of 0.1 nT, sensor sensitivity of 0.01 nT, counter sensitivity of 0.001nT, range of 18,000 nT to 120,000 nT, gradient tolerance of over 10,000 nT/m, sampling range of 4 Hz - 0.1 Hz. Tow fish shall have a length of 124 cm, diameter of 12.7 cm, 16kg dry weight, and 2kg weight in water. Tow cable shall have a breaking strength of 2,500 kg, have an outer diameter of 1 cm, bending diameter of 16.5 cm, and have a yellow polyurethane outer jacket. Two (2) 50m cables shall be provided. Flotation cable shall have a breaking strength of 2,500 kg, have an outer diameter of 1.9 cm, bending diameter of 25 cm, and have a orange polyurethane outer jacket. Two (2) 50m cables shall be provided. A firm-fixed price purchase order is considered for this acquisition. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334511, Size standard is 750 employees. Solicitation W912EP 11-T-0059 will be issued on or about 21 September 2011 and offers will be due on or about 28 September 2011.
