- CONTRACT INFORMATION: The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Alabama requires the services of an Architect-Engineering (A-E) firm to perform legal boundary surveys. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Brooks A-E Act as implemented in FAR Subpart 36.6. Anticipated date for publication of RFP is October 14, 2011. PROJECT INFORMATION: The government contemplates the award of three indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contracts - one in each of three areas of Alabama. The three areas are North and Central Alabama, East Alabama, and West Alabama. The boundaries of each area are described below. The contract for North and Central Alabama will encompass the following counties: Limestone, Cherokee, Cullman, Lauderdale, Etowah, Marshall, Marion, Winston, Morgan, Madison, Lawrence, Blount, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Colbert, Tallapoosa, Coosa, Calhoun, Cleburne, Autauga, Chilton, Jefferson, St. Clair, Shelby, Fayette, Walker, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Lamar, Randolph, Clay and Elmore The contract for East Alabama will encompass the following counties: Henry, Covington, Lee, Chambers, Barbour, Houston, Geneva, Butler, Lowndes, Crenshaw, Montgomery, Coffee, Dale, Russell, Pike, Macon and Bullock The contract for West Alabama will encompass the following counties: Pickens, Sumter, Greene, Hale, Perry, Marengo, Dallas, Choctaw, Wilcox, Washington, Clarke, Monroe, Conecuh, Mobile, Baldwin and Escambia Each contract period will be one year. Work under each of the contracts will be subject to satisfactory negotiation of labor hour rates and individual task orders. The maximum dollar amount for each of the contracts is $150,000.00. There is no guaranteed minimum order. Task orders will be negotiated as firm fixed-price procurements for individual or clusters of easements.
