- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Unique Broadband Systems, Ltd., for the procurement of one Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Tactical Navigation (TACAN) Test Set Calibrator, P/N 2770. This is required by the Brazil Navy S-70 support equipment/ weapon system calibration activities as specified in the Calibration Support Plan (CSP) to support one (1) Instrument Calibration Procedure (ICP). The drawings and data rights are owned by Unique Broadband Systems, Ltd., and are not available to the Navy for manufacturing. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a resopnse to this synopsis in writing that contains information that would allow the government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
