- Description: The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR), Aircrew Systems Program Office (PMA-202), intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, ten (10) month, delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-07-G-0005 to Cobham Life Support Division. This procurement will provide for a quantity of twenty-eight (28) CRU-121 Panel Mounted Oxygen Regulators, P/N F241-2400-11, in support of the E-2D On-Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Cobham Life Support Division is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the CRU-121 Panel Mounted Oxygen Regulator and is the only source with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience to perform this effort within the required time frame. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Cobham Life Support Division at the following address: Cobham Life Support Division, 10 Cobham Drive, Orchard Park, NY 14127-4195. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract, or to be responsible for any monies expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
