- Description
- The requirement is for management services and hazardous waste removal, transportation, and disposal at NAWS China Lake. This solicitation replaces solicitation SP4500-11-R-0009. The requirement was originally synopsized under SP4500-10-R-0019. The solicitation, SP4500-12-R-0001, will be posted on 10/3/2011 and will close on 10/24/2011. The RFP is a firm fixed price / Time-and-Material, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Full and Op e n request for proposal. The award will have 18-month base period and (2) 18-month option periods. The contract will include FAR 52.217-8 which allows up to 6-months of extension of services. Performance will be requested by issuance of written task orders against the contract periods. All prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transportation of various types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material and comply with environmental protection laws. This solicitation requires a Technical Proposal under L.29. The Government will evaluate the technical proposal to determine the technical acceptability of the offeror's proposal. The documentation shall be submitted in sufficient detail to demonstrate the offeror's understanding of the scope of the work effort required, and the degree of difficulty involved.
