- Description
- This program will provide system sustainment of the Viper Memory Loader/Verifier (MLV) support equipment and all future derivative systems that support all blocks of the F-16 aircraft. The United States Air Force (USAF), Multinational Fighter Program (MNFP), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers use these support equipment items worldwide. In addition, this contract will provide production, spares, repairs, and engineering for the Viper MLV and engineering only for the Enhanced Diagnostic Aid (EDNA). This program will perform the following actions as required: Engineering Technical Service, Software Support, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Analysis and Support, Maintenance of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Property (GFP), Non-Recurring Engineering, Technical Order Maintenance, Provisioning Data, Modifications, and Configuration and Data Management for the support equipment. Duration of Contract Period: The basic period of performance for issuing new task orders against the Contract shall be for 24 months following award. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
