- FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire an extension to the current warranty for the SMARTNET System located at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, 2300 E Street NW, Washington, DC 20372. This is a requirement for the warranty and maintenance of this system. Warranty services shall be in strict accordance with the statement of work. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. Award of a firm fixed contract is anticipated. All required deliverables shall be furnished within 30 days after date of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard for this procurement is 511210 and 500 employees respectively. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by sending challenges to David Moore at david.moore8@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all challenges to this sole source determination received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
