- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution has a requirement to establish a Requirements Contract to supply various types and sizes of Polyethylene Stretch Wrap to multiple locations. The Requirements Contract will be awarded for a Base Year and Two (2) Option Years for delivery of Polyethylene Stretch Wrap to the following DLA Distribution locations: DLA Distribution Anniston AL (DDAA); DLA Distribution Korea (DDDK); DLA Distribution Hill UT (DDHU); DLA Distribution San Joaquin CA (DDJC); DLA Distribution Norfolk VA (DDNV); DLA Distribution Oklahoma City OK (DDOO); DLA Distribution Pearl Harbor HI (DDPH); DLA Distribution Red River TX (DDRT); DLA Distribution Sigonella Italy (DDSI); DLA Distribution Susquehanna PA (DDSP); DLA Distribution Tobyhanna PA (DDTP); DLA Distribution Corpus Christi TX (DDCT); DLA Distribution Yokosuka Japan (DDYJ); DLA Distribution Puget Sound WA (DDPW); DLA Distribution Warner Robins GA (DDWG)and the following Navy Warehouse Transfer (NWT) Navy Support Activity (NSA) sites: NWT-NSA Naples Italy, NWT-NSA Rota Spain, NWT Everett Washington, NWT Gulfport Mississippi and NWT-NAS Panama City Florida. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Small Business; the NAICS Code for this procurement is 326112. The size standard for this NAICS Code is 500 employees. The tentative time frame for issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP) SP3300-11-R-1010 is on or around October 21, 2011. The solicitation will establish the RFP due date and time. Access to the solicitation will only be made available to prospective offerors via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http: www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. Any questions concerning this requirement should be directed to the Acquisition Specialist, Angel D. Maldonado, at angel.maldonado@dla.mil. All questions should be submitted in writing via email to the above. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under the RFP. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your proposal ineligible for award. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors shall also complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration the CCR database. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this RFP. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror. An offeror must be determined responsible according to the standards of FAR Subpart 9 to be eligible for award.
