- This solicitation is tree planting for the National Forests in Alabama. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, permits, and incidentals necessary to perform tree planting for the National Forests in Alabama in accordance with the specifications. All work to be accomplished is located within the boundaries of the National Forests in Alabama, comprised of the Shoal Creek, Oakmulgee, Talladega, Bankhead, the Conecuh and the Tuskegee Ranger Districts. The resulting indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be a base period and four option years. The size standard for this solicitation is $7 million under NAICS code 115112. The solicitation will be set-aside for small business concerns. Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about Oct 5, 2011. If a site visit is held, information will be included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.204-7 and ORCA.
