- This announcement is a notice of intent to extend an existing contract on a sole source basis to Coastline LTD, 4944A Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22313, for the HVAC Chemical Water Treatment Service contract at Fort Hood, Texas. The proposed contract action will extend the performance period of the contract W91151-11-D-0001 for 12 months under the authority of FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. Estimated dollar value of this action is $345,933.96 for the period of performance of 1 December 2011 through 30 November 2012. This procurement is Subject to Availability of Funds (SAF). There are also three additional 12 month option periods. Task orders will be funded as requirements occur. The contractor provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) chemical water treatment service for Fort Hood, Texas. The contractor shall provide personnel, management, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, transportation and any other items or services not government furnished necessary to perform HVAC chemical water treatment service at Fort Hood, Texas. Interested persons need to identify their interest by email to: mary.chamberlin@us.army.mil, no later than 25 October 2011 at 0900 CST. Questions submitted by other methods will not be evaluated. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325998. This was a small business set-aside.
