- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for full maintenance and repair services for GE Healthcare XR 650 Digital Imaging Systems; Manufacturer: GE Healthcare. The Government intends to negotiate sole source with GE Healthcare, 3000 N. Grandview Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The sole source determination is justified in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Services include full maintenance both remotely and on site, to include all replacement parts, software updates, labor, travel expenses, tools, test equipment and other incidentals necessary to maintain or restore the equipment to full operating specifications. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $19 Million. The contract will be for a base period of one (1) year (anticipated to begin 10/1/11) with option to renew four (4) additional years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties are requested to review the requirements, and submit a statement of interest that must be submitted on or before September 9, 2011. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
