- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award CLS America a purchase order for yearly ARGOS transmitters services for Alpha Airtime Fees, Monthly ID fees, and Active Platform with Data Access Fee. CLS America, Inc. is the only provider of the ARGOS services. As a result, CLS America, Inc. is the only responsible source to provide the necessary ARGOS required services. The acquisition will be conducted through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 518210. The business size standard is $25 million. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award has been made. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is October 7, 2011 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
