Description
The Bureau of Land Management, Salt Lake City, UT, has a requirement for the rental of two Tractors including delivery for between three and six months. Specifications and overall requirements are listed below. A map of the location for delivery of these tractors is attached. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional, information included in this notice. The effect is through FAC 2005-53 (Aug 2011). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request for quotations is L11PS01504. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 441229 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: ANY FLAT TIRE THAT CANNOT BE REPAIRED WILL BE REPLACED BY THE BLM, ADJUSTED FOR THE TREAD REMAINING ON THE TIRE(S). LUBE, OIL AND FILTERS CHANGED PER MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATION SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE PER MONTH OF RENTAL AND PAID FOR BY THE TRACTOR RENTAL AGENCY. DELIVERY AND PICK UP REQUIREMENTS:DELIVERY AND RETURN OF TRACTOR SHALL BE PAID FOR BY THE LOADED MILE. THESE LOCATIONS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE COR AFTER AWARD.TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PAID BASED ON AN HOURLY CHARGE AND MILEAGE. PAYMENT: PAYMENT SHALL BE MADE FOR EACH MONTH OF TRACTOR RENTAL, PER TRACTOR. ANY PART OF A MONTH BEYOND ONE MONTH SHALL BE PAID FOR AT THE INDUSTRY STANDARD: ONE WEEK EQUALS ONE-THIRD OF A MONTHS RENTAL FEE. ANY TIME LESS THAN WEEK WILL BE ROUNDED UP TO A FULL WEEK. EVALUATION:Technical Performance: Prospective contractor must be regularly established in the business called for in the solicitation.
