- Description
- This requirement is for Lock 27 walkway bridge machinery installation. The work consists of concrete removal, miscellaneous metals, painting, electrical work, installation of industrial machinery, heavy crane use, and the use of marine plant. The contractor will demolish the existing walkway bridge operating machines, install new government furnished machines, create pockets in the lock chamber wall for the installation of bridge hanger machines, and install new pneumatic bridge hanger machines. The contractor will then install the new government furnished, 44,000 lb., walkway bridges.
