- This requirement is an emergency non stock listed procurement PR(s): FB20651265X777 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 335931 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 500 The purchase of: (a) CONTACT PN: MMX0297-0-15-01-47-35-100 Qty: 10,500 Justification for Sole Source Acquisition: The Manufacturing and Calibration Squadron has an urgent requirement for the purchase of 10,500 Contacts, part number MMX0279-0-15-01-47-35-100. The Contacts will be used in the completion of job II M3946K 12A. The contacts are required for the completion of the manufacturing of 27 backplane assemblies. Heilind Electronics (1GC04) is the manufacturer of contacts referenced by drawing for Robins, AFB. Research for this part has led us to only Heilind Electronics. Research has included FEOLOG, Haystack, IHS Catalog Database, ILS Supplier database, and RFQ's to supplier/distributors successfully used in the past as well as any others we could identify. MXDPB is unable to manufacture this item and there is no other source available to make these boards. Further delay delivery of these units to the customer, creating a lack of support for the end item aircraft. Only quotes for new equipment will be considered. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number.
