- Drawings Request for Information USAF Control and Reporting Center - AN/TYQ-23 Display Module Assembly The Government is performing market research to determine potential sources of manufacture, re-engineering, or supply for Display Module Assembly (NSN 5895-01-309-3076) as used in the AN/TYQ-23; NAICS Codes 334310 - Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing 334119 - Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing 334418 - Printed Circuit Assembly (Electronic Assembly) Manufacturing 334419 - Other Electronic Component Manufacturing The Government's objectives and requirements of the potential source are to 1. Re-engineer a form, fit, function, and interface, (F3I) direct replacement of a. Display Module Assembly, NSN 5895-01-309-3076, P/N 865531 2. Provide a complete drawing package of the re-engineered replacement suitable for manufacture or repair activities by other sources a. All rights to the drawings shall be transferred to the Air Force 3. Must be capable of recovering source code (the Government does not possess the Firmware source code for this item) and document all software functions of the current design and provide complete software documentation for the re-engineered replacements a. Provide all software documentation to the Air Force b. All software rights shall be transferred to the Air Force 4. All products developed under this effort shall be considered Air Force work and shall have no license encumbrances This notification is for market research purposes to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully complete this effort for Hill Air Force Base, Utah and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. To be considered as a potential manufacturer/supplier source for this requirement, a Contractor will be required to submit technical data, in response to a solicitation, verifying their capabilities to produce/supply these items. The Contractor will be required to verify to the Government that the items are within Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Respondents to this request will be retained in a file and subsequently provided a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) when issued. Responding to this request in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent for the manufacture/supply of this item. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this announcement.
