Description
NSN listing for Solicitation SPM7LX11R0063 This initiative is in support of, but not limited to the Mine Resistant Ambush Protection Vehicle (MRAP). The solicitation will cover 69 NSN's that are identified by code and part number. Electronic listing is attached. The subsequent contract will include one base year and four option years. Offers will be evaluated by the following factors, ranked in descending order of importance, price, past performance, proposed delivery, surge and sustainment, socioeconomic support and the Ability One Program. or other evaluation factors identified in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available in FedBiz/Opps on its issue date of 17 October 2011. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: see electronic spreadsheet of NSNs. TYPE OF SET ASIDE: Unrestricted. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. "The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer." "The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years."
