Description: Please find the National Park Service's (NPS) responses to questions submitted for the Prospectus for a Concession Business Opportunity for Marina, Merchandise, and Food and Beverage Operations within Amistad National Recreation Area below: 1) Is there a minimum number of boats allowable in the prospectus? There is no minimum number of boats specified in the prospectus. 2) If the new concessioner wants to add slips (a need is present), but the NPS does not have the funding to do so, but the new concessioner does- can they pay for the new construction? No, all new investments will be undertaken by the NPS without exception to prevent the incursion of additional Leasehold Surrender Interest. 3) If the new concessioner cannot pay for the new construction, and the NPS does not have the funding to pay for the new construction- then what? How does that situation get addressed? All new investments will be undertaken by the NPS when and if funds are available.
