- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for Autoclave Maintenance. The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items necessary to maintain a Steris Autoclave, 16X16X26 Gravity Sterilizer, Eagle 3000 Series. Work includes, but is not limited to, periodic maintenance, annual certification, unscheduled repairs, and reports, by means of a firm fixed-price contract. Successful maintenance and repairs require that the autoclave operates and performs in accordance with the manufacturer's standards and remains certified at all times. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 and the annual size standard is $19.0 million. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus two option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 36 months. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. Interested sources shall provide the following information: a. Complete Company name b. Address c. DUNS number d. CAGE code e. Business Classification (e.g., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, service disabled veteran owned small business, woman-owned small business, etc.) f. A statement that the firm is capable of providing the required services No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This Sources Sought Synopsis is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFQ.
