- Description
- Background: The current ICIDS access control system was converted from an ADT access control system that was originally established on, or about, March 1998. There are 22 buildings with 200 badge readers and of that, four have keypads. Each door having a badge reader has a magnetic lock and release sensor, which automatically unlocks the door from the inside. All components are tied to an automated access control interface terminal, which resides at Svitak Hall. The Regiment intends to secure its infrastructure by individual securing the communication closets, which house the NIPR/SIPR hubs, which are spread out throughout the entire compound. By linking the sites into the current ICIDS III Access Control Interface system/database gives the individual sites an alarm capability and anti-intrusion detection. This work is critical in order to achieve timely customer support and long-term sustainment and survivability of the infrastructure system. Scope of work: Provide qualified personnel, test equipment, tools, materials, and other items required to perform installation, troubleshooting, integration into current ICIDS systems and secure communications closets as designated by the Regiment RS6. The government will provide the ICIDS and badge systems.
