Description
This acquisition is for three (3) each DRT9957A (Digital Receiver Technology) Tactical Transmit Receive Amplifier Modules (TacTram) and an additional 2 year product warranty. The DRT9957A is an interface with the DRT1301C+ currently in inventory and used by Soldiers for gathering Signal Intelligence. The DRT9957A is a portable, ruggedized system that improves the performance of DRT's personal communications interrogator systems. It is specifically designed as a companion module to the DRT1301C+ transceiver. The unit may also be used as a general purpose amplifier for manual and reactive jamming applications. The DRT9957A can be powered by battery, DC power or AC power adapter. The DRT9957A contains the necessary amplification and filtering to provide maximum operating range while maintaining optimum receiver sensitivity in the presence of a co-located transmitter. All associated circuitry, filters and power amplifiers are internal to the DRT9957A. The design allows simultaneous interrogation and direction finding. The frequency coverage for this devise includes North American bands plus Chainsaw and European bands: 1 transmit channel and 4 receive filtered channels. There is also a receive path available at the transmit port for simplex operations such as conventional reactive jamming. The basis for restricting competition is because the Digital Receiver Technologies, INC. is the only known manufacturer/distributor for the DRT9957A that integrates with the DRT1301C+.
