Description

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has a requirement to provide maintenance, repair and calibration to the approximately 134 RadNet fixed air monitors dispersed throughout the United States and US Territories, and provide technical support to operators of the RadNet fixed air monitoring stations by telephone and e-mail communications. Additionally, maintenance, repair and calibration shall be completed by the Contractor when deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The EPA anticipates the award of a Time and Material type contract, with requisite travel reimbursed IAW the Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR), consisting of a Base Period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) additional twelve (12) month option periods. The total duration of the proposed contracts are sixty months in total if all Option Periods are exercised. The U.S. EPA intends to make contract award under this solicitation. The award will be processed as "Full and Open" competition. The associated NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $7.0 million in average annual receipts over the preceding three fiscal years. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on approximately August 10, 2011, and proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. The before mention date for issuance of the solicitation is an estimate.
