Description
This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity was available only to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Consumer Research and Communication (CRC) IDIQ contract holders. This IDIQ was competitively awarded under the procedures of FAR 15. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), provides opportunities to improve the nation's health care through health information technology (HIT) by promoting the meaningful use of electronic health records (EHR) via incentives. The HIT provisions of the Recovery Act are found primarily in the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act or the HITECH Act. The purpose of this task order is to obtain technical professional services to promote Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other forms of Health Information Technology (HIT) included in the HITECH Act. The research will include a multi-method approach to assist with the development of the campaign; assess concepts, terminology, language, messages, materials, tools (online and other) and dissemination strategies; and to track the effectiveness of the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs campaign in achieving its goals.
