- Network Contracting Activity 8 is seeking responsible sources to provide service, maintenance, and upgrades on Philips WITT Medical IT System at Veteran Medical Centers in Gainesville, FL; Tampa, FL; West Palm Beach, FL; Miami, FL; and Bay Pines, FL. Potential sources shall be qualified and have the required levels of professional and technical experience to perform this service. This notice is for planning purposes and market research. A solicitation is not available at this time. This synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NACIS 334516. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Federal Supply Schedule holders, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business, are encouraged to respond. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed or faxed to Clifford Snipe, Contract Specialist, FAX 352 381-5746; E-mail address: clifford.snipe@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than October 6, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. Responses should clearly state their ability to maintain and service Philips WITT Medical IT System. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from their responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
