- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Veterans Medical Technology LLC, 129 South Sparks Street, State College, PA 16801-3913 for the following: Rental of laserscope stonelight laser system, sterile fiber with optic delivery device and a trained technologist to assist the physician in the operation of the system and rental of greenlight laser system to include the laserscope 'HPS' PVP green light system, sterile fiber with optic delivery device and a trained PVP technologist to assist the physician in the operation of the system. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Responses must be received within 2 days of publication of this notice and include descriptive literature that clearly shows availability to provide the above equipment. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up requests are the responsibility of the vendor and any cost will not be reimbursed by the Government.
