- The Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound has a requirement, in support of Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC), to upgrade 25 each Government-furnished Motorola radios with UHF restricted low power; upgrade 1 GFE radio with Encryption flash kit; upgrade 3 GFE Motorola XTL5000 radios with flash code and include AES encryption; purchase new 3 Motorola XTL5000 UHF radios w/ specific features; upgrade 8 GFE Motorola XTL5000 UHF R1 Mobile Radios from W4 to 05 remote control heads; upgrade 18 GFE Motorola XTL5000 consolettes with P25 9600 baud trunking capability. The refurbishment upgrades to GFE will be shipped to and performed at Motorola ™s facility. In addition, provide engineering, and installation services to integrate CNRNW GFE into SWFPAC system to be performed at NBK Bangor, WA. The proposed contract action is primarily for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). This requirement is solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5.
