- ACR-F-08 The First Strike Ration (FSR) is a compact, eat-on-the-move assault ration designed for short durations of highly mobile, high intensity combat operations. The FSR is substantially reduced in weight and cube in comparison to the Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) and enhances Warfighter consumption, nutritional intake, and mobility. This requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with one base year and four one-year option periods. The contract minimum and maximum quantities for the base and option years are as follows: Minimum Quantity: 150,000 cs Maximum Quantity: 290,300 cs Contract shall be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method of procurement. In order to be considered technically acceptable the offeror must submit Product Demonstration Models (PDMs) and Past Performance Information which will both be rated on an Acceptable/Unacceptable basis. Award shall be made to the lowest offeror whose proposal is technically acceptable. F.O.B Origin with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Delivery shall be 90 days After Receipt of Order. Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date: October 13, 2011 Anticipated Solicitation Closing Date: November 15, 2011 Anticipated Award Date: April 2012 This solicitation is Unrestricted and will be available on FedBizOpps.
