Description
NASA Johnson Space Center (NASA/JSC) plans to conduct a JSC Human Health andPerformance Contract (HHPC) Industry Day. NASA/JSC is hereby soliciting firms to attendthis event on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the NASA/JSC Gilruth Recreation Center. Nospecial badging is required. The presentation to industry will be held from 9:00 a.m. to11:00 a.m. in the Alamo Ballroom. One-on-one communication opportunities will bescheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11th and from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 12th. The current Bioastronautics Contract (BC) and Occupational Medicine and OccupationalHealth Contract (OMOHC) Statement of Work are provided on the technical library at theHHPC website, http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/hhpc.It is the potential offerorsresponsibility to monitor the website for updates to the technical library. GOALS: The goals of Industry Day are to: 1. Provide information on the current BC and OMOHC contracts. 2. Promote competition on the potential HHPC acquisition. 3. Share the Governments current vision for the Space Life Sciences Directorate. 4. Allow NASA/JSC to better utilize industry input to improve future Request forProposals. Industry Day is open to all firms that are interested in pursuingcontracting/subcontracting opportunities on the HHPC effort whether they have performedwork at JSC or not. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. No photographic or recording devices are permitted during the Industry Day presentationor one-on-one communication sessions. A 45 minute open Question and Answer Session will follow the Industry Day presentation. ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS: To facilitate interactive communications with industry, NASA personnel will also beavailable for private meetings with individual companies in conjunction with IndustryDay. The purpose of these meetings is to provide industry with the opportunity to betterunderstand the existing requirements under BC and OMOHC and to allow industry anopportunity to provide input on the questions asked in the posted Request for Information(RFI).In addition, the Government may ask for additional clarification on writtenresponses to these questions. The meetings are intended to be question and answersessions in which neither side will be making a formal presentation. Any company may request a one-on-one meeting. Meetings will not exceed 25 minutes inlength and attendance is limited to four persons. Scheduling of appointment times will beon a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments will be scheduled every 30 minutesbetween 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 11th and 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on October 12th.Guidance for conduct during the One-on-One communications is attached to this posting asAttachment 1: One-on-One Communications with Industry Guidance. SIGN-UP REQUIREMENTS: To make reservations for the HHPC Industry day and one-on-one sessions, please send ane-mail to JSC-HHPC@mail.nasa.gov. For all other questions, please also send an e-mail toJSC-HHPC@mail.nasa.govThe request shall include the following information: i. Subject line: 'HHPC Industry Day RSVP' ii. Companys name and address. iii. The companys Point of Contacts (POC) names, telephone numbers, and e-mailaddresses. iv. The e-mail RSVP must explicitly state each of the companys attendees names andtitles of attendees (limited to four) from your company that intend to attend theone-on-one breakout sessions. Any special time requests, with justification will only beaccommodated as practical.E-mail reservations must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, October 6,2011. A confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge your reservation. Companies will be notified on or before Friday, October 7, 2011, of their assignedmeeting time. DIRECTIONS TO THE GILRUTH CENTER: Heading South on I-45, turn Left on Bay Area Boulevard (East). Proceed approximately 3miles on Bay Area Boulevard, and then turn Right on Space Center Boulevard. Proceedapproximately 2 miles on Space Center Boulevard through two stop lights. Turn Right tothe Johnson Space Center Gilruth Center. Proceed to the Gilruth Building parking lot.Enter through the Gilruth Center's front entry, and the Alamo Ballroom will be on yourleft. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites forthe release of any solicitation or synopsis.
