- Healthcare Acquisition Activity-North intends to issue a purchase order with B-K Medical Systems, Inc. for a Flex Focus 400 Urology Ultrasound System which includes the following: Fully Digital CFM Ultrasound System; IQPAC Technology which includes Enhanced Tissue Definition & Angular Compound Imaging; 19" LCD Flat Screen; Mobile Keyboard Dock; Backpack for Printer; DVD RW Drive; Endo Transducer Holder; Automatic Mode Adjustment; Simultaneous Live Split-Screen Imaging; Image Storage: CO, DVD, Hard Disk & USB Storage Device; Hard Disk Capacity: Externally Expandable to 530GB(70GB built in), 170,000 Images(30,000 on built-in HOD); DICOM Networking (Optional); Integrated 3D Imaging (Optional); DICOM Option for 1202 (License); Mobile Keyboard Dock for 1202; Backpack for 1202; Power Cable Holder; DVD RW Drive for 1202; Endo Transducer Holder for 1202; Endo Transducer Holder Mount for 1202 used w/ 2050 & 2052; 8808E MFI Transrectal Biplane Transducer; Sterile Disposable Puncture Attachment BiPlane 8818&8808e (18); Sony B/W Digital Printer; Application Training to be provided on-site by a registered ultrasonographer to be completed within 4 months of purchase. This item will be procured for Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland on a sole source basis in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source to provide Flex Focus 400 Urology Ultrasound System. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 procedures. NAICS code is 339112, size standard of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Offerors certain they can meet the requirement may submit in writing an affirmative response and statement of technical capabilities. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Affirmative written response must be received no later than 11:00 am EST on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
