Description

Intent to Sole Source: The Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Healthcare Systems intends to sole source to The Whitestone Group, Inc., 4100 Regent Street, Suite C, Columbus, OH 43219, 614-501-7007. The Whitestone Group, Inc. shall provide Security Guard Services for The Department of Veterans Affairs, Toledo Outpatient Clinic. This proposed contract action is for the contractor to 80 hours per week of security services mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority VAAR 819.7007. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:00pm to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. E-Mail request will be accepted; however it is not the responsibility of the Government if the email does not transmit.
