Description
Request for Information EJECTION SEAT/SYSTEM MANUFACTURING, REPAIR AND ANALYSIS NOTICE: In order to comply with the Competition in Contracting Act of 1984, the United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking to identify those within industry interested in manufacturing, repairing, and/or providing services (engineering analysis) for USAF-unique ejection seats. This is a WR-ALC issued Request for Information (RFI) involving Federal Stock Class 1680; it has been posted to generate, receive and/or support market research and contracting efforts. NOTE: Multiple contractual opportunities may result from this RFI (i.e., manufacturing contracts, repair contracts, as well as services contracts for ejection seats/systems). The Government is not necessarily looking for a comprehensive ejection seat/systems entity; companies within industry that are capable of accomplishing any manufacturing, repair, or analysis is asked to identify their capabilities. For RFI questions that do not apply to your company/capability, simply type "N/A" for those questions. Contractors responding to this RFI are placed on notice that participation in this survey does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. INSTRUCTIONS: Participants are encouraged to explain any business and engineering practices used to manufacture, repair and/or sustain ejection seats/systems. You are also encouraged to identify potential problem areas and solutions. If, after reviewing the requirements, you desire to participate in the RFI, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) Please provide the following business information for your company/institution and for any teaming or joint venture partners: Company Name: Address: Point of Contact: Phone Number: E-mail Address: Web Page URL: CAGE Code: Size of business pursuant to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code if known: Based on the above NAICS Code, state whether your company is: Small Business Woman Owned Small Business Small Disadvantaged Business 8(a) Certified HUBZone Certified Veteran Owned Small Business Service Disabled Small Business Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Is your company domestically or foreign owned (if foreign, please indicate the country of ownership). Please submit electronic response via e-mail no later than close of business 21 OCT 2011 to Webster.Stubbs@robins.af.mil. Please direct any questions to Webster Stubbs, at 478-327-3035.
