- Synopsis/Solicitation The PKO Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for purchasing of Precision Products High mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT) refurbishment under the authority of accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Subpart 13.5 and Subpart 6.302-1. This requirement is a 100% Total Business Set-Aside with an anticipated award date of 29 Sep 2011. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: 1 EA Repair and refurbishment of a Precision Products High mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT). Requirement includes: • Shipment to refurbishment location and back • Test, verify & replace faulty sensors, and switches as required • Replace outside door handles • Repair In-side door handles • Replace seatbelts • Replace gunners seat • Lubricate as required • Inspect or replace bearings as needed • Replace electric motor if necessary • Paint where needed The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-53.
