- Description
- RPB is currently fielding Emergency & Evacuation (E&E) radio systems at our overseas Embassies worldwide. These radio systems are vital to protect the life, safety, and security of American personnel stationed at those Embassies. E&E radio systems utilize special signaling and Global Positioning System features to alert personnel in the event of an emergency. In order to maintain the effectiveness of the emergency signaling capability (and thus the entire radio system) Kenwood brand radios are required. Additionally, the Kenwood Federal Division has provided electronic firmware and software modifications for our radios that perform certain radio interoperability functions specific to our requirements. Kenwood is also able to provide worldwide factory support and unlimited factory firmware upgrades at no cost. No other manufacturer or dealer can meet these specific electronic modifications and conditions requested by The Department of State.
