- The Office of the General Counsel at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) - has tasked the Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS) office at GAO with identifying and evaluating potential solutions for implementation of an E-Filing Software/System service. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to preview best in class solutions and to assist GAO in the development of potential future E-Filing acquisition strategies, thereby allowing prospective firms to judge whether they can satisfy the Government’s high-level requirements, and in turn enhance the Government’s knowledge of the marketplace as it relates to obtaining a cost effective and quality solution. This RFI is being issued consistent with and in the spirit of an exchange of information with industry as per Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12.202. Accordingly, the RFI is being issued for planning purposes only, with the intent of obtaining price information, statements of capabilities, information about the market generally, and insight from industry about GAO’s anticipated E-Filing requirements through questions or comments. It is not being issued with the intent of awarding a contract. The Government will neither award a contract on the basis of this RFI nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this RFI. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation for the procurement of goods or services (e.g., Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), etc).
