- Description
- NASA/ARC plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the followingon-site support services in a variety of integrally related disciplines, includingengineering, systems engineering, design and development, fabrication, testing, missionoperations, project management, project management support and proposal development. The Contracting Officer (CO) and the proposed Contracting Officers TechnicalRepresentative (COTR) will meet with the interested parties for a half hour meeting oncebefore the draft RFP is released and once after the draft RFP is released.We also anticipate holding a Presolicitation Conference after the DRFP is released forreview and comments from interested parties. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. This contract type will be a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee consisting of a definitive corerequirement and an IDIQ requirement. A DOD Contract Specification (DD254) will require that Awardee must have at least aFacility clearance level of Secret.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541712- Research and Development in the Physical,Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) Exception (c) Space Vehicles andGuided Missiles, their Propulsion Units, their Propulsion Units Parts, and theirAuxiliary Equipment and Parts) with a size standard of 1000 employees, respectively. Primary place of performance will be at Ames Research Center (ARC), Moffett Field, CA. No solicitation has been issued; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Itis the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps and the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service for the release of any solicitation. Prospective offerors not already listed on the attached interested parties listing shallnotify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibilityto monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitationand amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linkedbelow. All contractual and technical questions and comments relative to this synopsis must besubmitted in writing by e-mail to AnJennette.C.Rodriguez@nasa.gov not later October 28,2011.
