Description
Statement of Work FM200 FIre Alarm Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection The, United States Department of Agriculture, National Informational Information Technology Center (NITC), plans to award on a sole source basis to Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., 8066 Flint Street, Lenexa, KS 66214, the Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection of the FM-200 proprietary System. Which includes but is not limited to the Fire Systems Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis on the FM -200 system and all related proprietary technical support components and emergency repairs. These systems will be maintained in accordance with NFPA 25 requirements. Only Siemens Industry, Inc dealer authorized personnel have access to the system. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment to perform quarterly, semi-annual, annual three and five year maintenance on the fire alarm systems related to data center operations. The data center operations includes approximately 37,000 square feet of raised flooring, three mechanical rooms, three generator enclosures (nine generators total), generator basement, two electrical rooms, system network control center and service desk area. Systems include five pre-action dry pipe sprinklers, smoke and heat detectors, FM-200 systems and all related components to make the fire alarm systems function properly. The contractor shall also provide Emergency Repair Services twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, and three hundred and sixty five days a year inclusive of all Holidays. The contractor shall be on site within two hours of notification when there is an emergency condition in the data center requiring correction. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation exists for this requirement. Only authorized dealers located in the Kansas City Metropolitan area are to submit responses.
