- This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to notify industry of a Vendor Solutions Symposium (VSS) for the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Records (VLER) Initiative on December 13-14, 2011. The objective of the VSS is to explain what the VLER initiative is as well as obtain industry input on its products and services related to the VLER Initiative. The VSS will be held December 13-14, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Orlando, FL. Doors will open at 8 a.m. for registration and networking. Conference pre-registration is required and limited to two attendees per company. There is no fee to participate. Pre-registration will be accepted on a first come first served basis until capacity. Those vendors who presented July26th or 27th at the VLER VSS held in St. Petersburg, Florida are not eligible to participate on December 13th or 14th. Pre-registration for the VSS via the Virtual Office of Acquisition (VOA): https://www.voa.va.gov/ under "VSS for VLER Initiative". The registration form can be found under "VLER VSS-December 2011". If you are not currently a VOA user, registration/login instructions are provided on the main page. Contact voahelp@va.gov for technical assistance. Updates will be posted accordingly.
